bulletMadeline "Ma" Delucia - The years that I was cook at Camp Russell were the best years of my life. The staff was great. The boys were super. We had great leadership and also a lot of fun. We lost a great leader, Frank DeVito. He was all Scout. We hope to see a lot of you at camp on July 15.

bulletJeff Papaleo - Like most, I have been pretty busy since my final summer, working as a counselor, at Russell. I am a Captain in the Army and fly

Apache Longbow helicopters. I spent my first three years in Germany and am currently assigned to Fort Hood, Texas but I am forward deployed to Iraq. This is my second tour here. I started my first tour with the initiation of the war in March of 2003. I took command of a 35 soldier, 8 attack helicopter company in July of 2004 and just relinquished the reins yesterday. You may have heard of the Apache helicopter that was shotdown just north of Bahgdad in January. That was one of my aircraft that was lost that day. I moved over to the plan side of the world and will be planning all major army aviation activities in and around Bahgdad.

I am married and have been since April of 2002. I met my wife while I was a student at Providence College in Rhode Island and she attended Johnson and Wales University across town. We don't have any kids yet but are planning on a few. As soon as the Army stops sending me on the glorious vacations.

Yesterday (March 28, 2006), during the change of command ceremony that we had here when I relinquished my company, I talked about Frank Devito a bit in speech.
